I wanted to send an amended review due to the fact that I did not have time to look closely at the CPO I ordered. So let me say that anyone ordering should remember to order a size smaller than what you normally would order, or else the one sent to me was sized incorrectly. So I am sending it back to get one size smaller. Additionally, looking at the tag inside saying U.S.A. made gives me hope. I have no complaints about price any longer, willing to pay more for USA products.

I received the CPO shirt thinking that at last I had found one like I had years ago, but which is now too small for me! The old one was high quality. The one received did not seem anywhere near the quality, and the size was all wrong, being that I wear a 42, and was recommended to order a large, not a Medium, which I normally wear. So, at the least I have to send it back for a Medium, but I am not sure I want to have another one, as the price of this CPO seems so high with such little quality! However, I will try it on again and see if it is something that I want to keep.
Great product and timely purchasing process

CPO shirt too short
From William Stenson of Ladue, Missouri on 3/19/2015.
I ordered a wool CPO shirt size large. The quality appeared quite good but the sizing was a problem .I wear a 44Long in a suit or sport coat. The large CPO shirt fit well through the chest and the arm length was right but the shirt was at least 3 inches too short. The extra large would only have been a half inch longer. I returned the CPO shirt

Nice heavy wool shirt. Large fits a 44 reg just right. Price beats ebay.
Wool at a Fantastic Price
From Nancy Delrose of Collinsville, Missouri on 2/2/2015.
This shirt was the winner of the best Christmas gifts this year. Bought this for my son who wanted wool for hunting. This is a wonderful quality for the price and my only complaint is that it is more of a black than a Navy Blue that it says in the description.
From BRETT STILES of DETROIT, Michigan on 12/8/2014.
FANTASTIC SHIRT. I HAVE BEEN USING THIS AS A UNIFORM SHIRT THROUGH THE FIRST COLD SNAP FOR OVER A MONTH. IT WORKS WELL DOWN TO FREEZING ON IT'S OWN AND WELL AS A LAYER BELOW FREEZING WITH A SHELL. I HAVE BEEN RECOMMENDING TO MY CO-WORKERS WHO ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT OUR COTTON SHIRTS. THE ONLY ISSUE IS THAT IT DOES NOT TUCK INTO PANTS WELL.
Best CPO for the $$$$$, period!
From Lloyd Marthaler of Everett, Washington on 11/16/2014.
The shirt is beautifully made, cut perfectly although for me a large is usually right but an X-L was recommended and it fits perfectly. Would highly recommend without reservation.
warmth with style
From cggeorgina of new york, New York on 11/7/2014.
well made, warmth without being too heavy. the material is soft. True to size. I ware this as a unisex shirt with a turtle neck when casually dressed. Good price, fast delivery.

A well constructed, comfortable shirt/jacket for cooler weather. Agree with comments made by two earlier posters - 1) order a size up. The xxl fits me well and I'm 6'5" with broad shoulders and 2) the sides at the hip are a bit short. There was probably some hand access to pockets reason in the original military design. The color is a rich dark navy, not the shiny one shown on the website. A nice option for the price.

Perfect/Just what i wanted/ Great service / Fast delivery
Love this shirt
From John Graham of West Hills, California on 3/13/2014.
This CPO shirt looks great and is very warm. The thick, tight knit wool blocks wind chill yet breathes minimizing sweat. The wool is a bit scratchy but with a long sleeve T-shirt underneath that is not an issue. It makes an excellent thermal layer or overcoat.

Excellent quality, great value!

My husband wanted a navy blue CPO since the 70's. Great birthday present! Fast delivery, I used expediate and item shipped out same day. Great quality item and made in USA. Thank you~ the green plaid CPO can be retired. :)

I wanted a warm wool shirt, to wear as a second layer in the winter; one that had sleeves long enough, and 2 flap pockets with buttons, that was comely, and was tough enough for trekking use. A well-fitting CPO Shirt seemed just the ticket. I am completely satisfied (tho' I've not yet had to wash it). I took the phone-person's advice, and ordered larger than customary. I'm 6'1", 42" chest, long arms: Size XL fits just right. Pricey, but I buy gear to last for years, so it'll amortize well.
From Robert Reilly of Highland Lakes, New Jersey on 3/24/2013.
These are thick heavy wool shirts. They seem to have great quality, well stitched, sturdily sewn buttons. Very warm, just tested them on a winter camping trip. They are however, much darker then pictured, navy, almost black.
From Anonymous of Colchester, Connecticut on 2/24/2013.
heavy material well made definite cold wearher shirt side seams/tails could be a little longer
Simply the best
From Jeff Z. of Hartland, Vermont on 12/7/2012.
These shirts are fantastic! 1st rate, Best quality, heavy duty and they wear like iron. I bought two of them for when one is being washed, I can wear the other. I look forward to chilly weather just so I can wear them. Warm even when they're soaking wet. I can't say enough good things about these shirts. Get one, get a couple, you won't be disappointed.
