A well constructed, comfortable shirt/jacket for cooler weather. Agree with comments made by two earlier posters - 1) order a size up. The xxl fits me well and I'm 6'5" with broad shoulders and 2) the sides at the hip are a bit short. There was probably some hand access to pockets reason in the original military design. The color is a rich dark navy, not the shiny one shown on the website. A nice option for the price.

This CPO shirt looks great and is very warm. The thick, tight knit wool blocks wind chill yet breathes minimizing sweat. The wool is a bit scratchy but with a long sleeve T-shirt underneath that is not an issue. It makes an excellent thermal layer or overcoat.

Nicely made, very heavy wool. Will wear as a shirt-jacket. Seems true to size.

My husband wanted a navy blue CPO since the 70's. Great birthday present! Fast delivery, I used expediate and item shipped out same day. Great quality item and made in USA. Thank you~ the green plaid CPO can be retired. :)

I wanted a warm wool shirt, to wear as a second layer in the winter; one that had sleeves long enough, and 2 flap pockets with buttons, that was comely, and was tough enough for trekking use. A well-fitting CPO Shirt seemed just the ticket. I am completely satisfied (tho' I've not yet had to wash it). I took the phone-person's advice, and ordered larger than customary. I'm 6'1", 42" chest, long arms: Size XL fits just right. Pricey, but I buy gear to last for years, so it'll amortize well.

These are thick heavy wool shirts. They seem to have great quality, well stitched, sturdily sewn buttons. Very warm, just tested them on a winter camping trip. They are however, much darker then pictured, navy, almost black.

These shirts are fantastic! 1st rate, Best quality, heavy duty and they wear like iron. I bought two of them for when one is being washed, I can wear the other. I look forward to chilly weather just so I can wear them. Warm even when they're soaking wet. I can't say enough good things about these shirts. Get one, get a couple, you won't be disappointed.
