BDU Pants
BDU (Battle Dress Uniform) pants are durable, battle-tested
uniform essentials that can also be worn by civilians exposed to
challenging environments as they are prized for their comfort and
superior durability. Choices are available in plain colors or
camouflage designs to suit individual tastes and preferences.
BDU pants are available in ripstop material, which
offers greater resistance against tears and is recommended for a

Military use
The armed forces used the BDU as a uniform for battle situations
for nearly 25 years, from 1981 until 2005. The BDU has been
modified and replaced in every branch of the military since
then—except the Navy, which still uses the uniform.
Because of the BDU’s extreme durability and usability,
modifications of it have been created for civilian use, such as BDU
pants used for outdoor activities like camping and hunting.

Camo BDU pants remain a favorite of police, fire, and rescue
crews outside of the military. They are also suitable for outdoor
work and sport. Camo BDU pants and other styles
have roomy back pockets and hidden buttons as well to allow for
