Well built, nicely finished metal storage can with secure liquid seal and locking pin. Very solid compared to typical plastic fuel containers and a must for fuel storage in a garage or out building.

Have yet to use the cans as I have only had them a few days, but they look great! Each of the four were wrapped to prevent scratches. There are a few minor flaws with two(very small dent on one corner, couple of rub marks on one)but nothing worth complaining about.
Top notch customer service from VT and well made cans from the factory. These mil spec cans are top of the line and hard to find. Stock up now.

Have to agree with the venting issue. Tight as a drum but be aware of the splash of fuel when opening. It will spray out if near full. The nozzle is key too. Get the original Nato instead of the commercial one. The Nato version will empty out smooth while the commercial one will glug to no end tiring your arms out. Cans are excellent though.

NATO Gas Cans are "ventless"

These are a great gas can: new, quality, strong. One note is that I filled them and when I later opened the csns SIGNIFICANT pressure had built up, causing gas to "spurt" out to the front of the cans. This could be hazardous had I been near an open flame, etc. What I am saying is these are "unvented", so pressure WILL build up when they are filled with gas and caps closed. I now keep nozzles on them, ensuring they can "vent", but also potentual for spilling if knocked over. Just a "heads up" for safety.

I am not sure why NATO went to the smaller nozzle hole but these two new cans work as nicely as the old style ones I bought a few years ago. They DO NOT LEAK!

The can was quality, except it had a 3 inch dent on one of the corners of the can. Caused the paint to come off. I would replace, but i'd have to pay for shipping. I'll live with it.
